he is expected to announce a major change in oracle's database business. specifically oracle will introduce their new 12-c database. the conference runs through wednesday. a serious accident in san francisco, it happened just before nine this morning at-battery and green street off the embarcadero. one car flipped on to its ruth. rescue crews cut the person out of the vehicle. at least one person was taken to the hospital. the so-called carmageddon 2 in los angeles is going off without a hitch. well, almost. take a look at this. a huge piece of the bridge being demolished suddenly fell. workers had to high tail it out of there in a hurry. luckily no one was hurt. the closed ten-mile stretch of 405 freeway is on schedule to reopen early monday morning. >>> just ahead, the big delivery the post office will not make tonight that could get it in some hot water. and two northern californians are big winners in the lottery. where the winning tickets were bought. and plus the excessive heat watch called off, but it's still going to be warm. leigh glaser is coming

a quick note, howard street once again closed because of oracle open world between 3rd and 4th in san francisco. that's a check of your "timesaver traffic." let's go over and talk more about the forecast. all anyone has been talking about lately is this heat. >> those hot temperatures, very nice. what's nice is it comes and goes this time of year and it's headed out of town, temperatures cooling down a bit around the bay area today. outside right now a mild start to the day. a little hazy approaching the coastline but mostly clear. these temperatures still in the 50s and 60s. by the afternoon, it will stay hot inland. those temperatures up in the 90s, but the triple digits are gone. a lot of 70s inside the bay. you recall see some 80s in toward the santa clara rally and 60s and 70s out toward the coastline maybe some patchy fog moves in late in the day. this ridge of high pressure finally showing signs of weakening somewhat. the fog and low clouds starting to gather a little further to the south with a sea breeze, should begin to move in along the san mateo county coastline a little l
